Welcome to UMWeducation.org!

UMWeducation.org is an online community of educators sharing their knowledge about education issues and concerns, teaching strategies and resources, and recent developments in teaching and learning. This community is also a place to announce events and conferences so that the community can participate and be well informed of what is happening in the community at large.

This online community is a place where the University of Mary Washington's education students, faculty, area schools, alumni, and friends can actively participate and share new knowledge.

Office Chats with UMW Educators

Last year, John St.Clair, UMW Director of Distance and Blended Learning, recorded a series of "Office Chats" with faculty of the UMW College of Graduate and Professional Studies.  Along with each chat, St.Clair posted comments on his blog as to how the chat topic might be applied in an online class environment.

To date, the videos have been accessed over 5,000 times!

You are invited to view the chats and make comments!
